About the "Birb"

Alison"Birbz" is an East Coast local cosplayer, Vtuber, and content creator. Over the past ten years, Alison has created 20+ cosplay costumes winning multiple awards and has attended over different 20 events as a cosplay Guest and/or Judge. She brings a high quality eye for detail, EVA foam expertise, production and stage knowledge, and an infectious positive attitude.Since the start of her cosplay career in 2013, Alison has paid homage to her favorite video game and anime characters through a specialization in EVA foam and armor. Through a natural willingness to share her passion with others, a new world of opportunities opened up to her after appearing as professional cosplay talent to the first Overwatch League Grand Finals in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, Alison appeared at a multitude of events, big and small, and judged a variety of conventions on the East Coast.Her passion lies in judging the next generation of talent in cosplay contests along the east coast! Her dream is to travel abroad for cosplay and meet different people as passionate about cosplay as she is!Outside of cosplay, Alison loves reading and writing. She also creates content under the Vtuber persona "BirbzVT" creating tutorial content and fostering a "Comfy Chaos" stream environment.

Cosplay Judging & Experience

Alison started her professional cosplay career in 2018 when she was invited to the Overwatch League Grand finals at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, she has been an invited guest at Overwatch league events including Fusion Homestands, The OWL Grand Finals in Philadelphia in 2019, and the digital Grand Finals this past year. In 2020, Alison became an officially sponsored cosplayer of the (formerly) Philadelphia Fusion Esports Team.During this time, Alison started attending by guesting at conventions in the NJ and Greater Philadelphia area. As her experience increased, Alison attended her third and final Overwatch League Grand event in 2022, where she was flown out to Anaheim California to attend the finals and visit the Blizzard campus.All of her experience culminated in 2023 when Alison was a Cosplay guest at Fan Expo Philadelphia on the year of her 10 cosplay year Anniversary. Alison Debuted her first cosplay ever 10 years ago at Wizard World Philly, which is now Fan Expo.
